About course:
This course offers a unique blend of timeless lessons through Surah’s of Holy Quran and such practical experiences that encourage learning to enrich the spiritual connection with the Almighty Allah. In addition to this, the course aims to strengthen Iman and helps with good character building. The course fulfills the requirement of students from age 8-13 years old. It offers deeper understanding of Quranic teachings through practical learning such as, mastering Salah and practicing Masnoon Duas, and understanding the morals and lessons connected to Surah Kahaf. The integration of Quranic Fiqh in this course is to help students develop qualities such as patience, gratitude, modesty, cleanliness which are contributing factors in spiritual and personal growth.
Focused Areas:
Strengthening of Iman:
This course builds a bridge of deeper connection for students by developing their understanding of Allah’s attributes. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to understand the importance of Taqwa and learn ways to embody it. With the practice of Taqwa, the learning of developing qualities of a true believer such as patience, gratitude by Allah’s blessings.
Mastering Namaz (salah) prayer:
When it comes to Salah, the learning must be systematical and practical. This course offers a step-by-step guide of practical experience and the correct way to perform Salah. The most significant part of this segment lies within establishing the spiritual essence of Salah through this course.
Building understanding of Quranic Teachings:
Creating understanding of Quranic Tafseer through story telling and blending it with the knowledgeable takeaways for a good moral learning is one of the resources provided to the young learners through this course. The explanation of the key stories in Surah Kahaf ( the people of cave, Musa AS and Khidr and Dhul- Qarnayn’s stories) which alongside comes with practical lessons such as; Faith and reliance on Allah, avoiding materialism, arrogance and last but not the least trusting Allah’s wisdom more than anything contributes to the enrichment of the path to Jannah Insha’ Allah.
Learning of Masnoon and Quranic Duas:
One of the greatest privileges given to us by Allah is making Dua, and it is very important to learn some of the beautiful Duas to enrich the connection with the Almighty Allah. For this reason, the course includes a part where students will learn some Masnoon an Quranic Duas such as (Morning and evening Duas). Additionally, gaining knowledge of how these Duas provides significance and protection in our daily lives.
Building good morality:
Husn -e- Akhlaq is a term that refers to having good moral and ethical values when it comes to communication, behavior and character. Along with the lessons gained in the previous segments, a good character building with sincerity and kindness. Learning to promote kindness in everyday life.
The significance of serving parents:
The lessons mentioned contain a part which teaches the importance of parents and the reward of serving them.
Cleanliness (Taharah):
There are a lot of places in the Holy Quran where the specific practice of cleanliness (Taharah) is reinforced. This course offers an opportunity to understand this practice completely and clearly enabling spiritual and physical cleanliness.
Surah Al-Muddaththir (Ayat 4 & 5)
وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ (4) وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ (5)
“And purify your clothing. And avoid uncleanliness.”
Surah At-Tawbah (Ayat 108)
وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُطَّهِّرِينَ (108)
“And Allah loves those who purify themselves.”
Modesty in Islam:
A chance to ponder over modesty (Haya) from the point of view of Islam for spiritual growth.
