Embracing faith, Empowering minds

Embracing Faith, Empowering Minds: The Islamic Path to Spiritual and Mental Strength

This idea emerges from a philosophical point of view where there is a deep connection between spirituality and mental strength. It is the guide to seek balance between cultivating practices to embrace faith and provide empowerment to the mind. You might have often come across the phrase “Your body is a temple” but ever thought about how powerful the mind is or can be? The stance: “can AI replace human beings?” comes with a handful of No. Why? Because the human brain can change realities, make decisions and adhere to many beliefs at once. Now all these beliefs in a long run develops a force which we call “Faith”. What is faith? Faith is the ultimate force which is made up of a few same beliefs and practices that may or may not have any solid proof of it. It is the ability of the mind to infer itself and accept without having to need evidence of existence of that belief. Yes. Our mind is that powerful it can hold on to beliefs through both consciousness and subconsciousness.

Now the question here occurs, what is the connection between holding on to these beliefs and the empowerment of the mind? It sounds like a fight between a cat and a lion. The glossary of the words beliefs and faith never comes alone, they always came with extremism, war and blasphemy. How can these utmost substances empower the mind? The way to embrace these beliefs and to make them healthier for the mind is to understand the hunger of the mind. For instance, imagine your brain is a powerful magnet and it attracts every influence coming its way, exactly that is how the brain works. Now, to assure and gatekeep these influences and beliefs, to embrace the force, to embrace the beliefs, to embrace faith and to empower the mind one doesn’t need to burn people alive or throw stones on people who reject their belief.

The influences which later form powerful beliefs and ultimately faith need to be sorted with a proper nutritious diet. Wait! You don’t have to go to your nutritionist to ask for a diet plan every time. The mind doesn’t only need to get nutrition through what we ingest, it’s also what we consume from outside. To empower the mind, your focus needs to switch on to the consumption of it. When we feed the brain with the right knowledge and with the right awareness of our practices, we empower it and alongside, we embrace the beliefs surrounding our mind.

Islam is one of the swiftly spreading religion across the world, and no wonders why because it provides an authentic framework of knowledge through lessons, stories, Holy books and the life of Holy prophets. It provides an open message and a delicate invitation to its believers. A Japanese scientist Dr. Okuda converted to Islam when he got inspired by the following verse of  The Holy Quran:

“And indeed, we created man from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud.” Quran 15:26

The alignment of Islam and science is prominent in most of the verses of Quran. The religion of Islam gives light to its believers on pondering the world around them. This might help you revisit the stance mentioned earlier where we discussed the importance of consumption from surroundings affecting our minds. Yes, now you can make the connection. Did you know? That the first Surah of Holy Quran to be revealed also revived and reinforced the significance of knowledge. If Islam being a religion with its vast number of believers repeatedly emphasizes to ponder over, to learn, to go as far as they can to get the light….The light of the knowledge around the world to embrace their faiths and empower their minds for the best of the worlds, Then let us cut to the chase, because the reason I have been writing this blog is to let you know that the place your questions come from is the same place where your answer resides, The world around you and your mind.
